Delete your KinTypes account
You can permanently delete your KinTypes account and associated active service data in the app or request deletion from this page. You do not need Pro, and you do not need to reinstall the app.
Delete in the app
- Open KinTypes and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Profile, then Settings.
- Under Account, choose Delete account.
- Review the warning and confirm deletion.
The in-app flow verifies the active signed-in account and is the fastest option.
Request deletion from the web
If you cannot use the app, email admin@worldbuilders.app with the subject KinTypes account deletion request. Include:
- your KinTypes username;
- whether you used Apple or Google to sign in; and
- the sign-in email, if it is available to you.
Send the request from the sign-in email when possible. We will verify that you control the account before deleting it. We will never ask for your Apple password, Google password, app-store password, or full payment-card number.
What deletion removes
Once verified and processed, account deletion removes the active KinTypes account and sessions, provider links and credentials, private cloud workspace and private images, hosted profile and kintype pages, social posts and interactions, uploaded public media, and KinTypes entitlement links.
Deletion is permanent. If you want a copy, use the readable export in KinTypes before deleting the account. An export can contain sensitive Journal and identity data and is not guaranteed to be encrypted, so protect it carefully.
What may be retained
We may retain a minimal deletion tombstone with an internal account identifier and deletion time, plus reports, allowlisted report-time evidence, moderation or appeal history, fraud and security records, transaction records, and information required by law. We retain these only for purposes such as abuse prevention, safety review, accounting, dispute handling, legal claims, and legal compliance—not to recreate the account or republish deleted content.
Protected infrastructure backups, if present, expire on their normal rotation unless preservation is legally required. Screenshots, search-engine caches, device backups, exports, and copies made by other people are outside KinTypes’ direct control.
Subscriptions
Deleting KinTypes or your KinTypes account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription separately in the store where you purchased it. The store controls billing and refunds.
